I started out at the school as a study hall monitor and moved into the Youth Transition Program (YTP) upon completion of my AA degree.  From there I moved into a full time certified teaching position upon completing my BA degree. After my first year of teaching I was asked to be on the teacher training team for new teacher induction, serve the high school as a mentor, and serve as head of the English department.  I taught Marketing Education through CTE and served as the yearbook and journalism adviser for six years. I also have four years of experience coaching basketball as the acting head coach, and six years of coaching tennis; three of those as head coach. I also coached high school football for two years as an assistant.
